training Knowledge and skills enable people and businesses to succeed. As a knowledge-based business, Powerlearning continuously develops the skills and expertise of people through first rate training and development facilities. Powerlearning is the means with which to unlock the full potential of your people and your business. We will help you put in place the most relevant, most up-to-date set of knowledge and skills - enabling your people and your business to perform more efficiently, more safely, more cost-effectively. Powerlearning has provided practical operational training to many world-class companies for over a quarter of a century. The practical, hands-on bias is enhanced with a strong focus on enabling people to drive your business forward faster than the competition. Powerlearning is more than a technical training resource. It is a Business to Business Service. Each company's training needs are unique and our programmes are flexible enough to meet your specific training needs. While many courses have national accreditation and the content is standardised, we strive to put that content into context for your operation.
Cable Avoidance training Among our range of Electricity Appreciation courses, Cable Avoidance is aimed at people in organisations that carry out excavation work - Utility Companies, contractors and councils. It will be of interest to managers, estimators, planners, engineers, geologists, digger operators, surveyors, drillers and road workers involved in any type of excavation work. Make sure your staff know how to obtain, read and interpret PowerSystems cable records and understand the dangers of electricity, assess risks, plan and carry out work safely. Some basic Ordinance Survey map knowledge would be an advantage. Course Outline
